Participants must be in appropriate physical condition and be at least 18 years old to participate in any trip that we provide. Minors are allowed, but only if they are to be constantly watched over by a competent adult.
These trips follow the adventure travel philosophy, which leaves room for options and a good amount of freedom during the tour. The itinerary that we have supplied for each trek or tour should be considered flexible and modifiable rather than binding on us as per our contract.
It is essential to recognize and embrace this natural flexibility before embarking on any journey. Changes and delays are conceivable, and everyone involved has to be aware of this. Each member of the group must be able to participate fully in every aspect of the trip they have chosen for the group’s overall satisfaction.
The trip leader has the authority to withdraw any person who is considered unfit, not wearing enough gear, or who presents a threat to the group’s safety, enjoyment, or success. Additionally, participants provide permission for any photographs, including photos of them, to be used in our agency’s marketing materials. With regard to such photos, we maintain all ownership rights, including any resulting royalties or profits.
Throughout the trip, single participants will be partnered with a fellow member of the same gender, and lodgings will center on twin sharing. For those looking for single occupancy, it is a luxury that can be provided for extra fees. Furthermore, the participants must make sure they are in compliance with all relevant visa laws, and rules on foreign exchange, customs, and immigration.
To book your travel package, you will have to pay an upfront fee of 20% of the total cost. This fee is a non-refundable payment; meaning that in case you were to cancel the travel package after booking, you will not receive this 20% payment back. This 20% advance payment applies to every person in the group.
The rest of the payment can be done prior to 3 weeks of the starting date of the travel. Alternatively, you can choose to pay the balance amount after your arrival in Nepal, in a lumpsum. Failing to provide the balance payment before the start of the trek will result in automatic cancellation of the trek and your 20% advance payment will not be reimbursed.
Once you successfully book the trek, our travel team members start working on your journey’s logistics and transport. Hence, the 20% payment is not subject to reimbursement. Only under the condition that we fail to provide you with your preferred travel option, will be reimbursed 100% of the payment you made for the trip.
If you cancel the trip a month before the scheduled start, you will receive 80% of the total payment you made for the trip. If you cancel the trip 3 weeks before the scheduled start, you will receive 60% of the total payment you made for the trip. Likewise, cancellation of the trip prior to 2 weeks of the start will result in 40% of cashback. Lastly, if you cancel the trip a week before the start, you will received 0% of your payment.
Before the trip begins, we might materially change the contract’s principal terms, if we face some unforeseen events that compel us to change the terms. This involves providing a different journey. The client is free to accept the modification or terminate the agreement without having to pay any cancellation fees.
Should the trip be canceled, the client receives a return for the amount they paid. The client will be given a fair amount of time to choose if they want to accept the offer or terminate the tour. The option to terminate the contract ends and the modification is considered accepted if it is not canceled within the allotted time.
To make sure that you are physically fit for the trek and do not have any underlying conditions that could possibly worsen during the trekking period, you will have to provide us with a medical report from a trustworthy source. We do so to avoid any complications during the trekking days.
If you are suffering from any kind of lungs or heart conditions, you have to consult with your doctor and bring in a signed paperwork that reads your existing conditions are immune to the extreme conditions of the remote highlands you will be traveling to. In case, your existing conditions worsen during the trek, you will be evacuated to the nearest hospital where you will be treated for your conditions.
The expenses related to your helicopter rescue will be covered by your travel insurance provider while your medical expenses will be covered by your medical insurance. Most travel insurance cover both the aspects but they will not cover any expense related to your pre-existing condition.
